Aviator College

is now accepting applications for:

English (Adjunct) Instructor

Qualifications:

​Requires at least: a Master's degree in English or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of Applied Linguistics, Creative Writing, English, Grammar, Literature, Rhetoric/Composition or Technical Writing.

Geography (Adjunct) Instructor

Qualifications:

Requires at least: a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching areas.

  

Mathematics (Adjunct) Instructor

Qualifications:

  

  Requires at least: a Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or statistics education; with at least 18 credits in the appropriate discipline.

Physics (Adjunct) Instructor

Qualifications:

 Requires at least: a Master's degree in Physics or Master’s degree with at least 18 credits in the appropriate discipline. Engineering coursework may be included if it has a physics focus.

Humanities (Adjunct) Instructor

Qualifications:

Requires at least: a Master's degree in Humanities or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in humanities, or a Master's degree in Liberal Arts with a humanities core.

Flight Instructors

The requirements are:

  • CFI/CFII/MEI

  • 350 hours of Total Time

  • 100 hours Multi-Engine Time

  • Minimum of 15 hours of actual Instrument Flight Time

TWO year Flight Instructors

The requirements are:

  • CFI/CFII/MEI 

  • 350 hours of Total Time

  • 100 hours Multi-Engine Time

  • Minimum of 15 hours of actual Instrument Flight Time

  • Minimum of 24 months as an Instructor

  • Gold Seal Certificate preferred

A & P Mechanics

The requirements are:

  • Must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License. 

  • Experience working on twin and single engine aircraft preferred.

Qualified EASA Unrestricted Flight Instructors

The requirements are:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have the right to live and work in the United  States

COURSE ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT CHAIR

The requirements are:

  • Design, implement, oversee & direct all aspects of Flight & Ground Instruction training programs for FAA & EASA Ratings. Min Req: 2 yrs’ experience in job offered or related field. Min of 15,000 flight hrs, Master’s degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, valid FAA Comm Pilot Lic & Flight Instr Cert. & EASA ATPL, Flight Instr Cert & Flight Examiner Cert.

Summary

Delivers Aeronautical technical training classes for students in assigned approved curricula and programs.  Instruction will be accomplished by performing the following duties:

 

Qualifications Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA); at least five years related aviation experience and/or training.  

  • Current FAA-Flight Instructor Certification (CFI, CFII), or

  • FAA-Advanced Ground instructor (AGI)Certification, or

  • FAA-Instrument Ground Instructor Certificate (IGI)
