I came here to fly in USA because, the whole procedure is quicker than most of the countries in the world. The general aviation is much more advanced than in India and there are all types of study materials we can get here fast.
I spent three months searching for schools. First thing I did was evaluating the best place which offered the most multi engine time which was affordable. I found Aviator has a 200 hours multi engine program which is a good choice for the money. Other schools offer a lot less multi engin time in their program and their prices are higher.
Before I arrived at the Aviator Academy I was a little worried because I didn't have information about this school from any other Indian students who studied there. Contrary to my expectations everything has gone very well for me here. The first couple of weeks were a little hard adapting to the customs. The instructors, the management and students here were very friendly and helpful which made me achieve all my ratings at the pace I wanted. I was able to completely satisfying all my requirements CPL with IR on a multi engine, that is perfect for the DGCA requirements in India.
I have done the training here for 250 hrs with 200 hours multi engine time under part 141 and 61. I would suggest to future Indian Students coming here it is better to do the commercial and IR here without the instructor ratings because, at present there are good opportunities for flying careers in India which will last for the next several years. All the best with your training in this school and I recommend you to study here wholeheartedly.
Nearly 3 years ago, I had wished to start my flight career in India, I choose a flight school in Kerala but a short time after being there, I realized that they were not providing the necessary training experience to be competitive in today’s market. Then I decided to move over to another flight school. Then I learned about Ari-Ben Aviator in Florida and joined there Professional Pilot Program (200hr. Multi Engine Course)
On January 15th, 2006 I started my flight training at the Aviator and I completed my courses within the time that I alloted myself. During this time I gained 200hr. Multi engine and 50hr. Single Engine time and became familiar with GPS and auto pilot. I am sure it will help me to get a job in India.
The instruction I received was thorough and professional. I also met many wonderful people and had the opportunity to develop friendships, Thanks for everything and the great atmosphere that you created for me while I trained at the Aviator.
Yours Sincerely,
